Men's Soccer falls 3-0 at B-W

BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace men's soccer team limited the Beavers to four shots in a 3-0 shutout on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016. Bluffton dipped to 2-3, while the Yellow Jackets improved to 1-6 on the season.
The home team went up 1-0 in minute 31 when Logan Davis netted his third goal of the season. Davis made it 2-0 less than six minutes into period two before Danny Ruple added an insurance tally 13 minutes later for the final 3-0 margin.
Baldwin Wallace finished with a 23-4 spread in shots and a 7-4 margin on corner kicks. Senior Grant Stutzman (Sugarcreek/Hiland) ripped a team-best three shots for the Beavers. Matt Hardman-Zimmerman (Forest City, Penn.) turned away seven Baldwin Wallace shots in the loss.
Bluffton will make its home debut on Tuesday, Sept. 20, when the Beavers welcome Wittenberg University for a 4 p.m. start. Come out and support your Beavers!
