Girls' soccer: It's all Pirates against two NWC opponents
Last Thursday afternoon the Bluffton HS Lady Pirates soccer team traveled to Paulding.
Bluffton was ahead 6-0 at the half, with 3 goals by Senior Captain Abbie Parkins, and one apiece for sophomore Hannah Yost, senior Sarah Theisen, and one for freshman Kayla White off a corner kick by Junior Kelli Leugers.
The Pirates took over the second half as well with two goals by Freshman Brinkley Garmatter (with one assist by Leugers), one by Senior Captain Ana Spiridigliozzi (with the assist by Junior Brianna Keeler), one for Junior Kim Gordon, one for Keeler, one for Senior Captain Sydney Staton (with the assist by freshman Sophia Smucker) and one final goal by sophomore Averey Rumer (with the assist by Junior Kayla Kindle) with five minutes left in the game for a final score of 16-0.

The Lady Pirates traveled to Ada Saturday morning to take on the Ada Bulldogs at War Memorial Park. Senior Sarah Theisen scored back to back goals in the first 10 minutes of the game, and Senior Captain Abbie Parkins made it 3 with 10 minutes left in the half. Final score 3-0.
