BFR class participant has lots of praise for Sue Sheehan
Note: The Icon recently posted a feature on Sue Sheehan and the fitness classes she instructs at Bluffton Family Recreation. Here is a follow-up on that story from Cheryl Hohenbrink:
I started with Sue Sheehan about eight years ago. Since that time, I have had six surgeries on both my feet for heal spurs plus basil cancer on my eyelid.
I was on the couch for about a year because I was in two boots. I had back problems from wearing the boots, so I was getting shots in my back.
Then I came back to class and Sue modified different exercises for me. With her knowledge the kinesis taping for my back and shoulder, I now do three classes a week.
With diet and exercise, I have lost 40 pounds, I was also pre-diabetic, but now my AIC has dropped to 5.5.
Sue does everything to make class safe for me and I have no injuries. She is highly qualified for the classes she teaches at Bluffton Family Recreation.
