Women's Soccer falls 12-0 at Hanover

HANOVER, Ind. - The Hanover College women's soccer team was too much for Bluffton University, rolling to a 12-0 shutout of the Beavers on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016. Bluffton dropped to 0-10 overall and 0-5 in the Heartland Conference, while the Panthers improved to 7-5 on the season and 4-1 in the HCAC.
The home team scored less than 10 minutes into the contest and before the dust settled at the break, led by a commanding 8-0 margin. Hanover added four more tallies late in the match for a 12-0 victory over the Beavers.
Freshman keeper Courtney Davis (Richmond, MI/Richmond) picked up eight saves as Hanover finished with a 31-1 margin on shots. Both teams committed eight fouls and Hanover forced six more corner kicks (7-1).
The Beavers will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 19, when they travel to Anderson University for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Ravens.
