#IChooseBluffton. Towns like our's don’t happen by accident.

The hashtag and catch phrase is a new project of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, according to Gen Akroyd, chamber director. And, she adds that the chamber encourages Bluffton businesses and residents to start using it.

She told the Icon: “The #IChooseBluffton Challenge is simple. Think about where your needs can be met locally before seeking them outside the community.”

“As you go through your day, choose Bluffton. Make a conscious choice to say #IChooseBluffton and think ‘Bluffton first” when you have choices to make about where to shop, eat, live, play and work.”

Akroyd continues: “Ask yourself, can I get what I need in #OhBluffton?”

She encouraged residents to use this hashtag to show when you use Bluffton.
