Bluffton voters decide on national, state and local issues Nov. 8
Bluffton and Richland Township voters’ will cast ballots on a wide range of local, state and national candidates and issues on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
The Icon provides the following information about voting.
For Allen County voters, early voting may take place in the Allen County Board of Elections office, lower level of Third Court of Appeals building, 204 N. Main St., Lima.
• Saturday, Nov. 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sunday, Nov. 6, from 1 to 5 p.m.
• Monday, Nov. 7, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m

HANCOCK COUNTY, OHIO
A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage
A renewal of 0.6 mill and an increase of 0.6 mill to constitute a tax for the benefit of Hancock County, for the purpose of providing or maintaining senior citizen’s services or facilities by the Hancock County Agency on Aging, now known as 50 North, at a rate not exceeding 1.2 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twelve cents ($0.12) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2017, first due in calendar year 2018.

A replacement of a tax for the benefit of Hancock County for the purpose of providing continued operations and the expansion of mental health and substance abuse services by the Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services at a rate not exceeding 1.3 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to thirteen cents ($0.13) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2017, first due in calendar year 2018.
