Wow! Look at all those youth classes this fall at BFR
Several November and December programs for youth gett underway this week at Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Joseph Beagle, director.
Here’s the class update:
• Rookie sports - Tuesdays, 4:15-5 p.m.
For ages 4-6, youngsters will play a variety of sports
• K-3 basketball - Thursdays, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
For youth from Kindergarten, first, second and third grades
• Tiny Tots – Fridays, 10-10:30 a.m., now through Dec. 16
18 months to 5-year-olds, work on gross motor skills with some learning in each class
• K-6th grade dodgeball – Fridays, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
• U7 Soccer fun – Fridays, 5:15-6 p.m.
SWIM LESSONS
Thursdays, now through Dec. 15 - lessons at Comfort Inn pool
• Aqua kids - 5:30-6 p.m.
4-6 year-olds who can float on their own
• Swim I - 6-6:45 p.m.
K-3rd grade, based on Level 1-3 American Red Cross standards
• Swim II - 6-6:45 p.m.
1st-4th grade, stronger swimmers who have learned how to float and can swim to 15 meters by themselves
• Little Swimmers – 6:45-7:30 p.m.
3- to 6-year-olds, parents and child class
• Splash Time – 7:30-8 p.m.
6-month to 3-years-old; parent and child class
