Hospital plans to expand its parking on Harmon Road
During a public hearing, held at Monday’s Bluffton council meeting, the council okayed a request from Bluffton Hospital to rezone a property on Harmon Road.
The zoning change enables the hospital to raze a house, which it owns, at 565 Harmon Road, and to create additional parking at the hospital. (see attached map).
The property is currently Residential I and will move to Residential II.
The property is directly south of the Bluffton Women’s Care building at 559 Harmon Road.
During the public hearing it was explained that the proposed parking lot will have access directly from Harmon Road. Its driveway width allows two-way traffic into and out of the parking lot.
It will combine with the existing parking lot east of Bluffton Women’s Care building.
