Santa comes to town on Tuesday with a stop at the public library
Santa Claus is coming to town on Tuesday.
He'll arrive in a large Bluffton fire truck and will meet youth of all ages at the Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St., according to Jessica Hermiller, library administrator.
Explaining why Santa arrives on a fire truck instead of a sleigh, Hermiller told the Icon, "Santa's sleigh is in the shop and the Bluffton Fire Department is helping him out. Join us Tuesday, at 6 p.m, in the Youth Services Room to kick off the program with holiday stories read by firefighters."
Santa will make a special entry on a fire truck, which can be viewed from the warmth and safety of the library later in the program (no need to wait outside).
Holiday crafts will be available in various locations on the main floor. There will be photo opportunities. Refreshments will be served at the Youth Services desk.
