Mary Ann Sullivan Soup and Salad Lecture presenter
ArtSpace/Lima announces two new Soup and Salad Lectures presented by Mary Ann Sullivan, professor emeritus of English and Art History at Bluffton University.
The lectures celebrate two of the most prominent and influential women in British art: photographer Julia Margaret Cameron (Wednesday, Jan. 25) and painter Vanessa Bell (Wednesday, Feb. 1). Both events are at 6 p.m. at ArtSpace Lima, 65-67 Town Square, Lima.
Each evening will feature a light supper and an illustrated talk on the evening’s subject.
Sullivan's past work for the lecture series at ArtSpace has included talks on Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, Edouard Manet, the art and architecture of Vietnam, a three-evening examination of The Portrait in western art, and a three-part examination of contemporary architecture.
Reservations for either or both lectures may be made online at http://www.artspacelima.com/Soup%20and%20Salad%20Lecturse%202017.htm
Reservations will also be accepted by calling ArtSpace at 419-222-1721. The attendance fee is $20 per evening for ArtSpace members and $25 for non-members.
