Dorothy Colene Wetherill 1929-2017
Dorothy Colene Wetherill age 87, of Forest died in Bridge Hospice Care Center at Blanchard Valley Hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017.
On May 1, 1929, she was born to the late Arby and Tillie (Woods) Jolliff. She married Clair C. Wetherill on May 9, 1948, he resides in Forest. She is survived by sons Gary (Lois) Wetherill, Bluffton, Russell (Connie) Wetherill, Dunkirk, Robert (Beth) Wetherill, Forest, grandchildren, Andy Wetherill, Goshen, Ind., Jonah (Deborah) Wetherill, Villa Park, Ill., Cory (Kristie) Wetherill, Findlay, Casey (Lisa) Wetherill, Dunkirk, Scott (Cara) Wetherill, Kenton, Matt (Caity) Wetherill, Anthony, Kan., Ben Wetherill, Forest, great grandchildren Owen, Landon, Esther, Claire, Lincoln, Aaron, Ava and Caroline Wetherill. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Colene graduated from Arlington High School. She was member of Williamstown First Brethren Church. She worked as a teacher's aide and library aide at the Forest building in the Riverdale School District, and had worked at the Forest Library.
Colene was a member of the Forest Ladies Auxiliary and the Hardin County Homemakers.
Funeral services will be on Friday. Jan. 27, at 1:30 p.m. at the Clark Shields Funeral Home with Rev. David Creekmore officiating. Interment will be in Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m to 1:30 p.m. before the services at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 27. Memorial contributions may be made to Williamstown First Brethren Church or Bridge Hospice Care in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home 301 S. Patterson St. Forest, OH 45840.
