You bet - January wasn't a typical winter month
The Weatherman didn’t have to tell Icon viewers that January was warmer than typical Januarys.
The “lowest” daily high readings in January took place from Jan. 5 to 8. Otherwise, daily highs peaked in the 50s and 60s on six days.
However, when it was cold, it was cold. Jan. 5 to 8 “highest” low was 5 degrees.
Snow was minimal in January with traces on eight days and a total snowfall of only 2 inches.
Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer, provided a breakdown of daily weather in January. It is in the attachment.
