Health care topic of Feb. 24 university colloquium
Dr. Sherri Winegardner, director of nursing and associate professor of nursing, will present the Colloquium "Health Care: Is it a System? A Systems Thinking Concept Analysis and the Role of the Nurse” at 4 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24, in Centennial Hall’s Stutzman Lecture Hall.
Winegardner will discuss the current health care system and provide an overview of the published systems-thinking concept analysis she co-authored as a member of the Quality, Education, Safety and Nursing Education Institute’s RN-BSN National Task Force. In addition, Winegardner will share about the role of the Registered Nurse as a systems-thinker and care provider.
