Allen Soil and Water Conservation District is offering a community gardening forum for gardeners in Lima and the surrounding area from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23 at the American Legion Post 96, 711 South Shore Drive, Lima.  

Anyone who has been gardening or has an interest in gardening is invited to attend.  A meal will be provided followed by a discussion on how local agencies can assist with gardening education and other supporting needs. 

Representatives from local agencies will be in attendance to discuss what they have to offer and to answer your questions.  This is an opportunity to see what the community’s needs are for gardening issues and what assistance local agencies can provide. 

Since a meal is being provided, reservations are required.  Deadline for reservations is Wednesday, Feb. 22.
