Bluffton Boy Scouts "scouting for food" on Saturday
Bluffton Boy Scout Troop 256 will collect food for the Bluffton Community Assistance Program's food pantry, on Saturday, March 11, according to Dr. Darrell Groman, assistant scoutmaster.
Earlier this week yellow bags were placed on doorsteps in the village.
"Please place the yellow bags with non-perishable food items on your front porch before noon on Saturday. No glass, please," he said.
If your bag is not picked up by 5 p.m., contact Scoutmaster Mike Metzger at 419-235-5654.
"At this time of the year, the Bluffton Food Pantry inventory of food and paper supplies are critically low. Please consider helping your neighbors in need by donating food this Saturday," Dr. Groman said.
