Pathway board's focus is Bentley Road in 2018
One success leads to another.
The success of the Augsburger Road pathway, separating vehicle traffic from pedestrians and bikers, keeps the momentum going.
After completing the pathway from Bentley to Maple Crest and Riverbend, the Bluffton pathway board turns its attention on Bentley Road, between Augburger-Elm and Grove Street.
The pathway is now on the proposed comprehensive village capital improvement project list for 2018. The pathway board is now looking closely at the project, which is called a “side path” since it will a shared path adjacent to the roadway.
The next step in the process is a joint meeting with the pathway board and the Bluffton council street and alley committee. That meeting is at noon, Thursday, April 6, in the third floor of the town hall.
The March pathway meeting minutes are part of the Bluffton council packet, attached at the bottom of this story.
Council next meeting is Monday at 8 p.m.
