Area residents experienced temperature extremes of 57 degrees in May, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.
Also experienced was a rainy month. Precipitation in May reached 7.29 inches. The normal average precipitation is 4.01 inches.
The low temperature in May was 31 degrees on May 8. The high was 88 on May 18.
The average May 2017 daily temperature was 59.8 degrees and the normal May daily temperature is 60.5 degrees.
