Disney fun, U6 soccer, youth flag football, art camp
Several youth opportunities are available in August at Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Joseph Beagle, director.
Adventure camp – Disney Fun
Adventure Camp II takes place from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 8-9. Its theme is Disney Fun. Cost is $12 for BFR members and $20 non-members. Costs include snacks and supplies.
U6 soccer
Open to boys and girls 6 and under, registration ends on Aug. 13. Cost is $45 for members and $60 for non-members. All games are played from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Aug. 22 to Sept. 28 at BFR, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton.
Youth flag football
Open to youth ages 7 to 10, registration ends Aug. 13. All games played at 9 a.m. on Saturdays from Aug. 21 to Sept. 30 at BFR. Cost is $50 for members and $60 for non-members.
Art camp
A two-day elementary-age art camp in August is open to youth who have completed first through fourth grades. The camp takes place from 3 to 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 1-2, at BFR. Art supplies and snacks are provided. Cost is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
