Are you ready for this?
Bluffton High School marching band members will prepare for the upcoming football season this month, according to Dave Sycks, director.
Band camp takes place from 7 a.m. to noon each day from Monday, Aug. 14, to Friday, Aug. 18, at the village park.
Bluffton is the host band for this year's Allen County high school marching band show. The band will perform at a 4 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony opening the fair followed by a performanace in th band show at 7 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 18.
Pre-camp is underway this week as the flags are rehearsing from 9 a.m. to noon in the middle school parking lot. Then, winds and percussion rehearsals will get underway Thursday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon in the band room. Those rehearsals run through next week.
