Three new teachers join the Bluffton school professional staff in 2017-18. Teacherrs are Kate Bauer, high school English, Addie Kiene, high school intervention specialist and Megan Quinton, first grade.

Kate Bauer – High School English
Kate Bauer is a graduate of the University of Findlay where she double-majored in English and Adolescent/Young Adult English Language Arts Education. Kate is also a graduate of Crestview High School in Convoy, Ohio, where she lives today. In her spare time, Kate enjoys crafting, photography, spending time at the lake, and reading. She is looking forward to the upcoming school year and is thrilled to be a Pirate.

Addie Kiene – High School Intervention Specialist
Addie Kiene is a 2012 graduate of Columbus Grove High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Findlay in 2016. She was inspired to become an Intervention Specialist because of a younger sister who has cerebral palsy and autism. Her first year of teaching was with the Putnam County ESC. During that time, she also coached junior high volleyball and track.

Megan Quinton – First Grade Teacher
Megan Quinton, formerly Megan Dunlap, is a 2005 graduate of BHS. She lives in Wapakoneta with her husband, Aaron, and two sons, Daniel, 5, and Lucas, 4 months. They recently relocated from Hilliard where she taught kindergarten.
