United Way just shy of '16-17 goal
Bluffton, Beaverdam and Richland Township United Way fell shy of its 2016-17 goal, according to Neil Reichenbach.
“We wrapped up our 2016-17 campaign on Aug. 30. Our goal was $26,000,” he said. “We raised $23,722.”
He added that the United Way is hopeful to increase its 2017-18 campaign goal to $26,500 to be able to make up the recent short fall.
The 2017-18 campaign filers are in the mail. The campaign supports these local agencies:
Bluffton Child Development Center
Bluffton Family Recreation
American Red Cross
Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary
Bluffton Community Preschool
Bluffton Community Assistance Program
Bluffton Weekday Christian Education
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio
Boy scouts of America
Bluffton Senior Citizens Center
