Weisgarber named HCAC Player of the Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Junior Erin Weisgarber (Bolivar/Tuscarawas Valley) has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week after leading the Beavers to a 3-0 mark, including a pair of HCAC victories.
The dynamic signal caller had 19 kills against just 1 error for a .486 hitting percentage while doling out 107 assists (10.7 APG). Weisgarber also tallied 38 digs and five total blocks for the week.
Weisgarber is up to #3 all-time with 3,313 career assists, trailing just Shauna Rowland (3,695) and Jayne Miller (4,275).
The #4 seeded Beavers play host to #5 Defiance in one of two HCAC Tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. Click on the LIVE VIDEO and LIVE STATS links if you are unable to make it to the Sommer Center on Wednesday night. Go Beavers!
