Make plans to be in Bluffton for the Blaze on Nov. 25
Final plans are underway for this year’s Blaze of Lights according to Paula Scott of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s event is Saturday, Nov. 25.
Here’s the schedule:
Parade
There’s still time to join the parade. A parade application is attached at the bottom of this story.
Junior Weihrauch, parade director, said that over 75 units are already registered. The parade forms at 4 p.m. on Snider Road at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool. The parade starts at 5 p.m.
Blaze events
Warm-up – Shop and dine Bluffton
5 p.m. – Blaze parade
6 p.m. – Entertainment
7 p.m. – Lighting the Ream holiday folk art display on Presbyterian lawn
Post-parade – Mini-train rides and horse and wagon rides
Post-parade – Santa at Senior Citizens Center
A downtown retail window decoration contest is planned. Details on that contest and several additional Blaze events will be announced soon.
