Linda Moor, 1944 -2017
Linda J. Moor, 73 of Findlay died on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017.
She was born in Findlay on Jan. 18, 1944 to the late Cletis and Evelyn Beard. Linda married Ronald Moor on March 7, 1964, and they divorced. She is survived by two daughters; Rhonda (Andrew VanHorn) Moor of Rawson and Leslie (Marcos Ferrari) Moor.
Linda is also survived by seven grandchildren; Jesse Moor, Jared Moor, Sam Neff, Jack Henry Neff, Juri Green, Tucker Neff, Will Neff and a sister, Jean Bolmer of Findlay. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jude Green and by her ex-husband, Ronald Moor.
Linda graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Findlay in 1982. She devoted her life to rescuing animals and worked with her father form many years at Capital Tire Shop, Findlay.
She was also the owner of 201 Christmas Place, Happy Tails Dog Biscuits and Capital Tire Service Center.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay.
A memorial gathering will take place at the conclusion of the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the ASPCA in memory of Linda.
