Riley Creek Arbor assisting in Challenged Champions Equestrian Center open house
Riley Creek Arbor of Bluffton is assisting to host an open house at Challenged Champions Equestrian Center, Ottawa, set from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.
The equestrian center is located at 11913 Road 6, Ottawa.
Riley Creek Arbor is providing a continental breakfast at the event.
The open house introduces the public to the work of the center and also encourages volunteers. The mission of the Challenged Champions Equestrian Center is to enrich and change the lives of children and adults with special needs through facilitated equine activities.
No horse experience is necessary to volunteer and opportunities are available to anyone 14 or older. Challenged Champions Equestrian Center is a member of PATH International, Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International.
