Stephanie Jeanne Koch 1968 - 2017
Stephanie Jeanne Koch, 49, died Dec. 1, 2017, at Lima Memorial Health System. Stephanie was born April 23, 1968, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Steven and Jeannette (Dickson) Hajdler. On March 13, 1993, she married Richard Koch who survives.
Stephanie graduated from Lima Senior High School. Stephanie was an active member of the Lima Community Church, enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, arts and crafts and cooking and baking.
Survivors also include her father, Steven Hajdler of Hendersonville, North Carolina; a son, Christian J. (Sarah) Koch of Chicago, Illinois; a daughter, Shannon Koch of Bluffton; a granddaughter, Raelynn G. Fox; two sisters, Mitzi (George) Zintel of Valrico, Florida, Jeannine Hajdler of Hendersonville, North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Anthony Rodriguez, Amber Zintel, Mitchel Zintel and Lauren Matthews; a mother-in-law, Geraldine Sullivan of Lake Worth, Florida; and step father-in-law, Craig (Debbie) Sullivan of Lima.
Stephanie was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Renee Matthews.
Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Dr. Doug Boquist officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be Friday from 1 - 3 p.m. at Lima Community Church and from 6 - 8 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services in Bluffton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Putnam County Hospice.
