Pirate football named academic All Ohio

The Bluffton High School football team was honored this week as they were named OHSFCA Academic All Ohio by the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association. “BHS was selected as one of the top 85 academic performing schools in all divisions combined,” per Bluffton head coach Jeff Richards. The team will receive a certificate for this recognition.
Each team is required to submit the first quarter GPA of 22 varsity award winners. The team GPA submitted was 3.56 with three athletes recording a 4.0 GPA from Dakota Bricker, Deandre Nassar and Tucker Neff. Of the 22 GPA’s submitted, 21 of them were above 3.0.
