450 calls for service in November
Bluffton police responded to 450 calls for service in November. Among these were a reported break-in to a South Main Street business, a student making threats at Bluffton High School, and a telephone scam.
November 2
- Officers responded to an Eastland Drive residence in reference to a mentally ill person.
November 3
- A McComb resident reported that while she was in Bluffton for an appointment, items were taken out of her unattended, unlocked vehicle.
November 4
- Officers arrested Alex E. Kitelinger, 21, Ada, for OVI following a traffic stop in the area of Commerce Lane and State Route 103 for an equipment violation. The subject was also issued a citation for possession of marijuana paraphernalia. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
November 5
- Officer responded to a burglar alarm at a South Main Street business. Upon arrival, officers determined that forced entry was made into the business. A sheriff’s office canine was requested and performed a suspect track. The case is still under investigation.
- Officers responded to a Commerce Lane business in reference to a criminal damage report.
November 6
- Officers arrested Fantazshia Y. Williams, 24, Lima, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Bentley Road and Interstate 75 for a stop sign violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
November 7
- Officers responded to the 100 block of South Jackson Street in reference to a non-injury traffic crash.

- A South Main Street resident reported being the victim of a telephone scam.

- Officers arrested Robbie E. Blevins, 48, Pandora, for OVI following a traffic stop in the area of County Line Road and State Route 103 for a registration violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

- Officers arrested Jessica M. Aller, 36, Bluffton, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Mound Street and Huber Street for a registration violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
- A South Main Street business reported a theft complaint.
- Officers responded to the Bluffton High School in reference to a student making threats. Inducing panic charges were sent to the Allen County Juvenile Prosecutor’s office for review. The case is pending in Allen County Juvenile Court.
- A State Route 103 resident reported that someone had driven through his yard and caused damage.

- Officers arrested Jacob N. Piercefield, 23, Findlay, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of College Avenue and County Line Road. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
- Officers arrested Bernabe Vasquez-Bamaca, 33, Bryan, on an outstanding warrant from the Ohio State Highway Patrol – Van Wert Post.

- Officers arrested Dakoda Y. Shinno, 20, Fairborn, for OVI following a traffic stop in the area of Main Street and Vine Street for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
- Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Main Street and Vine Street. Upon investigation, officers issued Andrew C. Twining, 22, Findlay, a misdemeanor citation for possession of marijuana. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

- Officers arrested Jacob W. Leary, 24, Columbus Grove, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Vance Street and Elm Street. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
- Officers responded to the area of Interstate 75 northbound at Mile Marker 142 and handled a car/deer crash for the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

- Officers arrested Jesse L. Peyton II, 37, Rawson, for OVI following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 103 and Interstate 75 for a registration violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

- Officers responded to the area of South Main Street and College Avenue for a mentally ill person.
- Officers responded to the 100 block of Lake Street for a non-injury hit/skip crash.

- Officers responded to the area of County Line Road and Jefferson Street for a non-injury traffic crash. Adrian Flores, 21, Lima, was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
