Cheryl Wagler 1951-2017
Cheryl Wagler, 66, died Dec. 18, 2017, at 9:45 p.m. at Kindred Hospital in Lima. She was born Oct. 12, 1951, in Lima, Ohio, to Neil and Shirley (Hawk) Wagler.
Cheryl graduated from Leipsic High School in 1969. Soon after high school, she began her career at Philips Display Components Company in Ottawa. Cheryl worked there for 30 years until they closed their doors in the early 2000’s.
Survivors include five siblings, Keith Wagler of Findlay, Kayleen Wagler of Ottawa, Jim Wagler of Leipsic, Traci Wagler of Leipsic, Jason Wagler of Deshler; four nieces and nephews, Beth (Rich Burris) Wagler of Naples, Florida, Brian (Jessica) Wagler of Leipsic, Sarah (Mark) Ellerbrock of Ottawa, Christopher Wagler of Bowling Green, and three great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by a very special friend, Mary Ann Green; her father, Neil Wagler; and grandparents, Eithel Hawk, Christian “Pop” and Isabelle Wagler.
To honor Cheryl’s wishes, the family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made directly to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
