Here's a summary of the December calls:

December 1

  • Officers responded to a North Lawn Avenue residence in reference to a domestic dispute.
  • Officers arrested Jacob Leary, 24, Columbus Grove, for OVI following a traffic stop in the area of Jackson Street and College Avenue. Leary was also issued a citation for driving under suspension. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.

December 2

  • Officers responded to a West Elm Street residence in reference to an attempted breaking and entering complaint. Upon further investigation it was determined the subject was suffering from a mental issue, the subject was transported to Blanchard Valley Medical Center for treatment.

December 4

  • Officers responded to a non-injury hit/skip traffic crash in the 100 block of North Lawn Avenue. The case is still under investigation.

December 7

  • Officers arrested Logan S. Scoles, 20, Pandora, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of State Route 103 and Commerce Lane for an equipment violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

December 9

  • Officers responded to a non-injury hit/skip traffic crash in the area of East Elm Street and Eastland Drive. The case is still under investigation.

December 12

  • Officers arrested John Williams II, 55, Alger, for OVI following a traffic stop in the 800 block of County Line Road for a speeding violation. Williams was also issued a citation for having open containers while operating a vehicle. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.
  • Following a traffic stop in the area of Jefferson Street and Vance Street, officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from within a vehicle. After conducting a probable cause search of the vehicle, Traevin Harrison, 18, Bluffton, was issued a citation for possession of marijuana. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.
  • Officers arrested Jamie M. Brodman, 47, Bluffton, for OVI following a traffic stop in the area of Geiger Street and College Avenue for a marked lanes violation. Brodman was also issued a citation for driving under suspension and left of center. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.

December 15

  • Officers arrested Rachel C. Buxton, 33, Columbus Grove, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Cherry Street. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
  • Officers arrested Christopher A. Lester, 18, Ottawa, for OVI following a traffic stop in the 200 block of Snider Road for a speeding violation. Lester was also issued a citation for possession of marijuana. The cases are pending in Lima Municipal Court.

December 16

  • Officers arrested Benjamin A. Tharp, 39, Beaverdam, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Main Street and Cherry Street for a moving violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
  • Officers arrested Rosa E. Lomeli, 49, Leipsic, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of South Main Street and College Avenue. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.

December 21

  • Officers arrested Andrew Wolford, 30, Forest on an outstanding warrant out of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear.

December 23

  • Officers responded to a Vance Street residence in reference to a suicidal subject. After an investigation into the incident, officers transported the subject to St. Rita’s Medical Center for treatment.

December 24

  • Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the area of mile marker 141 on Interstate 75. Carole Madera, 58, Dayton, OH, was issued a citation into Lima Municipal Court for reasonable control.

December 26

  • Officers responded to a non-injury traffic crash in the area of South Main Street and College Avenue. Noah D. Woodruff, 18, Bluffton, was issued a citation into Lima Municipal Court for failure to yield the right of way.

December 27

  • Officers responded to a South Main Street residence in reference to a suicidal subject. After an investigation into the incident, the subject was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center by Bluffton EMS for treatment.

December 29

  • Officers arrested Mandell R. Ransaw, 23, Cleveland, for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of Commerce Lane and Citizens Parkway for a moving violation. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.

December 30

  • Officers arrested Ryan M. Matter, 22, Bluffton for driving under suspension following a traffic stop in the area of County Line Road and County Road 33. The case is pending in Findlay Municipal Court.
