CG Pro Bikes business name changed to Bike Crazy
A Main Street Bluffton business has gone crazy and changed its name.
CG Pro Bikes, owned by Raymond and Liz Harner, 127 N. Main St., is officially renamed “Bike Crazy.”
While the name change is official, the Harners plan a crazy celebration as soon as their new store sign arrives later this month.
In explaining the name change, Liz said, “We are bike experts, bike mechanics, bike fans, bike riders, bike fitters, bike advocates…we are bike crazy!”
A store name change was in the discussion stages ever since the Harners moved their business from Columbus Grove (CG) to Bluffton.
“Now seemed like a good time to change names,” said Raymond. “We changed our web host and are now an LLC. So, it all made sense.”
The bike shop, located in Bluffton for the past four years draws customers from a five-county area including Allen, Hardin, Putnam, Hancock and Auglaize counties, according to the Harners.
It doesn’t stop there, however, as they say they have a serious group of specialty bicycle customers from as far away as the Toledo, Fort Wayne, and Cincinnati areas.
The couple owns the 127 and 129 North Main Street building, with the ownership name Harner Ventures LLC.
ABOUT THE PHOTO: The Harners stand behind one of their Greenstar Eco Force 1 Bamboo Bikes. It is a combination fixed-gear and single-speed bike, which is one of several speciality bikes for sale in their store.
