Norma Guthrie was a retire realtor and business woman
Norma J. Guthrie, 77, died Jan. 14, 2018, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. Norma was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Cambridge, Ohio, to the late Roy and Eva (Stiles) Shelton. On Feb. 2, 1958 he married Harold "Gus” Guthrie who survives in Ada.
Norma was a homemaker and retired from Century 21 in Findlay where she was a realtor. She was a former member Riley Creek Baptist Church, Bluffton, Bible Baptist Church, Alger and current member of Auglaize Bible Church in Harrod. Norma was a missionary group leader, Sunday school teacher and a supportive and active pastor's wife. She was a florist at Sharon's Sentiments, was co-owner of Town and Country Furniture in Ada and co-owner of Ada Flea Market.
Survivors also include a son, Steve (Shelly) Guthrie of Pandora; a daughter, Kathy (Jerry) O'Hara of Gahanna, Ohio, five grandchildren, Kristy O'Hara, Heather O'Hara, Jason O'Hara, Paige (Danny) Miles, Jordan Guthrie; and three cousins, Joe Howard, Jeff Howard and John Howard all of Marion, Ohio.
Norma was preceded in death by two daughters, Sharon Guthrie, Teri Rae Guthrie and a sister, Beverly Boz.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Auglaize Bible Church, 2525 S. Phillips Road near Harrod. Pastors Steven Richardson and Ben Buzhardt officiating.
Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield, Ohio, at a later date. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Auglaize Bible Church.
