Mary Kathryn Chamberlain 1930 - 2018
Mary Kathryn Chamberlain, 87, of Findlay and formerly a longtime resident of Rawson, Ohio, died at 2:05 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at Primrose in Findlay.
She was born on Aug. 4, 1930, in Fostoria, Ohio, to the late Clarence F. and Maudd A. (Gardner) Yates. She was married on May 4, 1949, to the late Hugh E. Chamberlain who died on Nov. 29, 2012.
Mary Kathryn was preceded in death by her daughter, Claudia Ann Chamberlain, and her brother, Keith Yates. She is survived by a granddaughter, Molly Morgenstern of New Albany, Ohio; a sister-in-law Sue Hardwick (Blaine Bauman) of Bluffton; and a longtime friend, Pat Fruchey. Mary Kathryn was a homemaker and enjoyed cross-stitching and sewing.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home in Findlay. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, at Primrose Assisted Living, 8580 Township Road 237, Findlay, Ohio.
Pastor Carol Clements will officiate. Memorials may be given to either Bridge Hospice or Primrose Assisted Living for their Activity Fund.
