Bluffton council committee meetings are lining up like jets ready to take off at the airport – as the new year begins.
Here’s the schedule and discussion point of each meeting:

• Wednesday, Jan. 24 – Safety services, fire and EMS, 4:30 p.m.
Discussion: Purchase of new ambulance; also grant on workers’ compensation.
• Wednesday, Jan. 24 – Streets and alley, 5:30 p.m.
Discussion: West Elm Street water project.
• Thursday, Jan. 25 – Finance, 4 p.m.
Discussion: Meet with village fiscal officer to discuss 2018 village appropriations.
• Thursday, Jan. 25 – Ordinance, 4:30 p.m.
Discussion: Village ordinance review.
• Monday, Jan. 29 – Park and recreation, 5 p.m.
Discussion: Buckeye park restroom replacement.
• Tuesday, Jan. 31 – Utilities, 1 p.m.
Discussion: Utility rate study.
