Apollo Career Center will kick off Career Tech Education Month with the annual All Area Boards meeting held Thursday, Feb. 1, at 6 p.m. in the Apollo Commons.

This year, the Apollo Career Center is renaming and dedicating the large meeting room to the first Apollo superintendent Fred D. Goare. The room will now be called the Fred D. Goare Community Room. Members of the Goare family will be in attendance for the dedication.

Ethan Parsons, a 2010 Manufacturing Engineering Technology graduate from Wapakoneta will be inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame. The featured musical entertainment will be provided by Allen East Royale Blues Ms. Kirsten Lindhurst, Director

 Board members from Apollo's 11 member schools and three County Educational Service Centers will be present, in addition to special guests. This is an opportunity to thank Apollo's 11 member-boards for their dedication to public education, and to highlight the benefits of Career Tech.

Apollo recognizes Career Tech Education Month by celebrating Apollo's programs, the success of graduates and current students, as well as the partnerships that Apollo appreciates and relies upon to ensure continued success and relevance in its programming, workforce development, and student employment opportunities.
