Ultimate Date Night Feb. 10 at Ebenezer Mennonite
A comedy-infused Ultimate Date Night takes place at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road.
The evening includes a dinner and performance by the comic team, Jay and Laura Laffoon, who describe themselves as marriage “educ-tainers.”
Their presentation helps couples learn how to create and regularly celebrate a thriving marriage while exploring the realities that everyday life brings to the relationship.
Describing the event, Laura Laffoon said, “Over our 30 years of marriage, there have been days I can remember when I got married and where I got married, but for the life of me, I can't remember why I got married!"
Their humorous and entertaining presentation offers couples permission to discover and bring laughter into their marriage as they enjoy a connecting experience with one another.
“A thriving marriage has an impact far beyond the relationship itself,” says Jay Laffoon. “A great marriage not only helps our kids, but becomes a role model for others as well. We want people to see that a lasting marriage is possible and you can have fun in the process.”
The Laffoons are authors of several books and DVDs. Their comedy tour plays across the country. Their weekly online talk show Jay & Laura T.V. offers tips on connecting as a couple and a family.
Tickets available at the church or by calling 419-358-8588. Tickets are $10 and include dinner.
