January 2018 - a month of temperature extremes
January was a month of temperature extremes, according to Guy Verhoff, Pandora weather observer.
The high temperature was 58 degrees on Jan. 11. The low reading was -12 on Jan. 2.
The January 2018 average temperature, however, was on target at 25.0 degrees while the normal January average is 25.4 degrees.
Precipitation was measured at 7.5 inches for snow and 1.69 inches of rain. Normal average precipitation for January is 2.26 inches.
