What would your business do with an extra $1,000?
Eric Berdin, director of Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs, will share information with Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members about this year's Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition, which will begin soon.
He is the featured speaker of the 7 a.m., Friday, Feb. 9, chamber breakfast in the Bluffton town hall. He will ask established business owners: "What would you do with an extra $1,000?"
That's the prize money going to an established Bluffton business winner in this year's BCE competition. Additional prize money will be awarded to emerging businesses.
The competition has two divisions, emerging businesses and established Bluffton businesses. Cash prizes and marketing support are provided to competition winners.
Last year's established business winner was The Food Store. Cutting Edge Woodcraft, Bluffton, was the emerging business winner.
The chamber asks persons interested in attending to rsvp by 5 p.m. Wednesday to [email protected].
