Tom and Sheena Dotson, owners of Tommy Tire Sales, Bluffton, recently purchased the former The Fun Zone in Columbus Grove and have turned it into a rental hall called Tommy’s Place.
The facility at 304 Delphos Road, Columbus Grove, has several functions, according to Tom Dotson.
“We’ve transformed the building into a very nice rental location for everything from birthday parties to family get-togethers, graduation parties and wedding receptions,” he said. The building has 1,300 square feet and includes rest rooms, a kitchen and stove and a small dance floor.
Dotson has added several features including a big screen TV with a dish network, audio system, air hockey table, billiards table, corn hole and a black LED light option for parties.
“In the spring we will have an outdoor sand volleyball pit,” he said.
The rental hall can serve up to 60 persons. Those renting Tommy’s Place may bring their own food and beveragesl. The facility may be rented by the hour with a discount for a five-hour rental.
“This is a new venture for us,” he said. “We are extremely please with the community's response as e are now scheduling events as far out as 2019.”
Tommy's Place has several usage possibilities
Dotson emphasized that the rental hall has several additional possibilities for rental use.
“We are interested in talking with persons who offer yoga classes, Zumba classes, other exercise programs or groups needing a weekly meeting place,” he said. “We have openings Mondays through Thursdays for groups interested in continual rental. We will make it very affordable to those groups.”
Scheduling and rental can be made on Tommy's Place Facebook by clicking here, or by calling Tommy Tire at 567-226-1081.
