Margaret Diller Gagliardi was a Bluffton HS and Bluffton College graduate
Former Bluffton resident Margaret Diller Gagliardi, 89, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Feb. 23, 2018.
She was a 1946 graduate of Bluffton High School and 1950 graduate of Bluffton College.
She was a home economics teacher at Bluffton High School in the mid-1950s and also taught in the Hamilton County School System. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Gagliardi, Jr.; brother, Ron Diller; and parents, Paul and Verna Diller.
She is survived by her children, Peter (Joan) Gagliardi, Philip (Barb) Gagliardi, Anna Gagliardi and Daniel (Jan) Gagliardi; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Garriott; brother, Jim (Nancy) Diller.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 27, from 4-8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Gary Roop officiating.
Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
