A step back in time
Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce takes a step back in time on Friday.
Fred Steiner of the Bluffton Icon will share photos and talk about his newly released photo history book, “The Bluffton We Never Knew.”
The book has nearly 170 photos, mostly taken by pioneer photographer Will Triplett (Ropp Triplett’s grandfather). The photos show Bluffton as it grew up during its first half-century of 1861 to 1911.
Copies of the book will be on sale at the breakfast.
Several additional news announces are on the agenda. Future chamber events include:
• Farmers’ Market vendor meeting, April 3
• Chamber breakfast, April 13
• Farmers’ Market opening day, May 5
• Bluffton Arts and Crafts Festival, May 12
The Icon and PS Web Essentials jointly sponsor the breakfast. Sodexo at Bluffton University is the breakfast provider. Music is provided by Krysti’s Music Studio. Coffee is provided by Twisted Whisk Café.
Persons interested in attending should RSVP to [email protected].
Friday’s meeting is in the third floor of the Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St. Breakfast is served from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The program is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
