Greavu sculpture displayed in Lakeland, Florida
Judy Greavu, former Bluffton College art faculty member and ONU art professor emerita, has had a sculpture accepted for display in Lakeland, Fla. The sculpture was one of 10 selected from 65 proposals for display along Lemon Street from now until the end of 2018.
Lakeland lives up to its name with two lakes in the heart of town with many pieces of sculpture near the water’s edge. Sculpture also can be found at a nearby park in the center of town as well as along downtown streets.
Greavu recently retired from ONU where she spent 20 years teaching sculpture and art education. Her work has been displayed regionally and nationally.
ArtSpace/Lima honored her career with a retrospective. She has received numerous honors for her work throughout Ohio and the country.
