Open house and registration for 2018-19 at Trinity Lutheran School
Trinity Lutheran School, Jenera, will hold an open house and registration night for the 2018-19 school year from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, April 5, for prospective, new, and current families.
Teachers will be in their classrooms to meet with families and answer questions. The office will be open to drop off registration materials or sign-up for the 2018-2019 school year. Complimentary pizza, cookies, and snacks will be served in the school gym.
Pre-school is held on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. for children who will be 4 years of age by Aug. 1, 2018.
Kindergarten is held Monday through Friday from 8:30-3:15 p.m. with grades 1-8 having those same hours daily. Trinity offers a Christ-centered complete education within a safe and friendly atmosphere.
There is a low student-to-teacher ratio (about 8 to 1). Classrooms promote leadership and independent learning skills and offer choir and music classes as well as the latest in computer technology. Academic competitions are in spelling, math, geography, forensics, art and science.
Athletic competitions are in volleyball, soccer, basketball, track and cheerleading.
TLS is chartered by the Ohio Department of Education and certified by the State of Ohio.
