Community invited to Riley Creek Festival
Bluffton University will host the annual Riley Creek Festival from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, in the Sommer Center.
Free and open to the public, the festival will feature block-party-style events including: family-friendly inflatables, games and other activities. The event will conclude with the traditional rubber duck race on Riley Creek starting at 4 p.m. Rubber ducks will be sold for $1 each, with proceeds to benefit the Bluffton food pantry. Duck race winners will receive prizes donated by local businesses.
An optional lunch will be available for purchase to community members and non-students. Students may use a meal swipes to cover the cost of lunch for their family and friends.
Riley Creek Festival concludes the university’s Lil’ Sibs weekend. A full schedule of events can be found at http://www.bluffton.edu/studentlife/involvement/events/rcf.html
