Trinity Lutheran School students present “Peter Pan" April 13-14
The play “Peter Pan” will be presented by the students in grades 1-8 at Trinity Lutheran School, Jenera, on Friday April 13, at 1:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 14, at 4 p.m.
The performance is unique as the cast is chosen on Monday and the play is presented on Friday.
Members of the Prairie Fire Children’s Theater based in Barrett, Minnesota, travel throughout the United States, directing plays at various schools.
Two members will hold auditions on Monday and choose students for the various roles in the play.
Every student in the school has a part in the play and Kindergarten students are involved by handing out the programs at the performances.
The students memorize their parts and rehearse every day until the play is presented on Friday.
The Prairie Fire directors bring all of the costumes and make-up.
The performances are open to the public. A free-will donation will be welcome to defray the cost of the production.
