Local leaders join in day of appreciation
The Board of Allen County Commissioners is joining with the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties on Tuesday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at the county sanitary engineer's office, to recognize fire, EMS, and law enforcement’s efforts on the front lines fighting the opioid epidemic in Allen County.
Individuals in recovery and family members will share their stories of recovery made possible thanks to the many individuals in their community who made it possible for their recovery to occur.
This is part of a statewide effort during the week of April 9 – 13 to take time to show our appreciation for the tireless work these emergency first responders do for our community.
Proclamations from the Governor, the County Commissioners and the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board will be shared.
Representatives from fire, EMA, and Law Enforcement will be on hand.
