Tennis: BHS stops Kenton 3-2

(KENTON) - Bluffton picked up a 3-2 win over Kenton Tuesday night under bright sunny skies. The Pirates got wins from senior Justin Haggard, sophomore Drew Wilson and the dynamic freshman duo of Eden Nygaard & Grant Klinger. Haggard didn’t lose a single game in his first singles victory. BHS improved to 4-8 in match play with the win.
1st Singles : Justin Haggard defeated Hayden Robinson 6-0,6-0
2nd Singles : Christian Groman fell to Taj Chantal 6-4, 6-0
3rd Singles : Drew Wilson defeated Brice Heckathorn 6-1, 6-2
1st Doubles : Mack Burner & Jordan Siefer fell to Cruz Bryant & Andrew Boyer 7-6, 6-1
2nd Doubles : Eden Nygaard & Grant Klinger defeated Riley Messenger & Cameron Zickafoose 6-4, 6-3
