For the second time in three days, the Bluffton baseball team faced a state ranked team.  On Wednesday, sixth ranked Lincolnview invaded Kyle Luginbuhl Memorial Field and left 11-1 winners.  The Lancers improved to 16-3 on the season, Bluffton fell to 3-13.  The Pirates played LCC earlier this week who also garnered votes in the latest state ranking.

LHS jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings and didn’t look back.  Senior Kaden Reneker pitched a completed game for Bluffton, allowing fifteen hits and six earned runs.  BHS committed three errors on the night.

Bluffton picked up three hits off Lincolnview starter Jaden Youtsey.  Dakota Bricker had two of those hits including a double and also drove in the lone Pirate run scored by Reneker.  Caden Rayle singled for the other Pirate hit.

BHS is now 1-6 in conference play.
