Darrell D. Howell was a former Union Township trustee
Darrell D. Howell, 65, died May 2, 2018, in Union Township, Hancock County, Ohio. Darrell was born May 15, 1952, in Bluffton to the late Herbert and Edna (Cupples) Howell.
Darrell graduated from Cory-Rawson High School where he was a member of the 1969 state champion football team. He was a farmer and mechanic at Gene Stevens in Findlay. Darrell was a member of Mt. Cory United Methodist Church and the Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Association. He was a former Union Township trustee and former member of the Mt. Cory Fire Department.
Survivors include three daughters, Melissa (Patrick) Bisson of Kansas, Ohio, Erin (Andy) Ebert of Findlay, Sarah (Mike) Sparks of Rawson; six grandchildren, Lincoln, Lexus, Danika and Devyn Ebert and Hailey and Lucas Sparks; a brother, Ron (Cathy) Howell of Bluffton; a sister, Charlotte (Ron) Bruneller of Rawson; and his ex-wife Susan Haugh of Findlay.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 7, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Mark Fuerstenau officiating. Burial will be in Clymer Cemetery near Mt. Cory following the service. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
