Denver C. Moore, Sr., 1948 - 2018
Denver C. Moore, Sr., 69, died on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at 7:24 a.m. at his residence in Ada.
He was born on Aug. 2, 1948, in York, Kentucky to the late Carl V. and Bertha M. (Cole) Moore. On Nov. 5, 1972, Denver married Jeanne A. Green and she survives in Ada. Denver worked in construction. He attended the Trinity United Methodist Church, Bluffton.
Also surviving is his son, Denver Moore, Jr. of Canal Winchester; a step daughter, Carol Green of Ada; three brothers: Michael Moore of Delaware, Dennis Moore of Newark, DE and Gary (Barbara) Moore of Ada; and three sisters: Deborah Horn of Warfield, KY, Diane Smith of Ootawah, TN and Brenda Stapleton of Ashland, KY.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Frank, David and Daniel Moore; and three sisters: Phyllis Joan Jarvis, Linda Sue Edmond and Sarah Marie Moore.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, June 27, at noon at Reed Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Greenup, Kentucky, with Pastor Dennis Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Bradley Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 25, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday at the Reed Funeral Home, Greenup, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Health Professionals - Hospice and/or the Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, P.O. Box 38, Ada, Ohio 45810 for the benevolence of the family.
